The Centre for Biotechnology and Bioinformatics (CEBIB) welcomes postgraduate students and staff to a talk by Prof. Victor Jongeneel to be hosted at CEBIB Lecture room on Wednesday, March 11, 2020, at 1.00 p.m. to 2.00 p.m. Prof. Victor Jongeneel will share the experiences in his exemplary research career; the challenges and opportunities to look out for in science.

Three (3) post-graduates from the Centre for Biotechnology and Bioinformatics (CEBIB) have been selected among other learners to participate in the problem-based Learning (PBL) program hosted at Computing for Development (C4D) lab

Brenda Makena, a 2nd year MSc Bioinformatics student from the University of Nairobi’s Centre for Biotechnology and Bioinformatics (CEBIB) has been selected for 3 months all-expenses-paid research students exchange programme. Brenda is among nine students competitively selected for the programme from various institutions of higher learning in Kenya, Uganda, Malawi, Sudan, and Cameroon. The programme, funded by the Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF), is aimed at strengthening capacity at the beginning of the student’s research careers.
