The Centre for Biotechnology and Bioinformatics held a two-day workshop to discuss and consolidate curricula reviews by the Centre stakeholders on the four(4) programmes offered by the Centre.
The Director-CEBIB, Dr. George Obiero, underscored the positive impact of team-building and synergistic systematic reviews on the success of the Centre.
Representing the Director-UoN Quality Assurance Office, Ms. Doreen Nanyama pointed out that, “The order of complexity of academic programmes is differentiated based on Bloom’s Taxonomy level as per Universities Standards and Regulations 2014”. She presented on the elements of an academic programme, during the focused discussion groups.
Transformation, Performance Management and Reform Unit (TPMRU) representative, Ms. Roselyne Kimirri sensitized the team on components of cascaded performance contract (PC) with a focus on the CEBIB's PC for the financial year 2019/2020. Emphasis was on the continued monitoring and evaluation to enhance customer service delivery.
