Renovation work in one of the five(5) laboratories at the Centre for Biotechnology and Bioinformatics (CEBIB) began today.

This effort is aimed at revamping CEBIB’s research space to enhance scientists’ working experience and to accommodate the increasing demand for research based at the Centre.

University personnel and students utilising the lab are informed that the facility will be under minor renovations for not more than a week. Research staff/students who anticipated to utilise the lab are therefore advised to consult CEBIB Senior Technologists Mr. Edwin Rono and/or Ms. Anne Owiti for alternative working space to avoid disruption of their research activities. The Centre management regrets for any inconvenience as a result of the process.
