Centre for Biotechnology and Bioinformatics (CEBIB) has signed a Performance Contract with the College of Biological and Physical Sciences. Among the targets for 2015/2016 include: service delivery, global competitiveness and linkages , student mentorships, student outreach activities and programmes encouraging guest lecturers, as well as sensitization on drug, alcohol abuse and HIV/AIDS. In addition, successful grant applications and funding for research projects has been catered for in the performance contract.
Notwithstanding, the PC also intergrates compliance with the consititution and national cohesion and values , where it is set to implement the President's annual report on national values and principles of governance.
