Five CEBIB students, Ms. Josephine Kimani (PhD), Mr. Fred Odhiambo (MSc), Mr. Wellington Odhiambo (MSc), Ms. Tania Bishola (MSc) and Ms. Lillian Mbaisi (MSc) participated in the Introduction to Bioinformatics Course (IBT 2017) held at the International Centre for Insect Physiology and Ecology (ICIPE). The annual course was organized by H3ABioNet, the Pan African Bioinformatics Network for H3Africa, across 27 sites in 12 African countries. The training will continue for period of 3 months with intensive biweekly contact sessions.
CEBIB alumnus, Mr. Kelvin Muteru, also participated as a training assistant for the course.
